My name is Eliseo. I am a Spanish guy who love nature and adventure, the last of which was to move to Scotland to keep furthering my career.

I first travelled to Edinburgh, which was a big step and my first experience living abroad. It was scary and exiting at the same time, a mix of emotions that, during the few first years, made me deviate a bit from my professional goal and focus more on the new personal experience that it was taking place in my life. However, my passion for design remained unwavering. In fact, that time away from my career only intensified my craving for design work, leading me to relocate myself to pursue further studies and reignite my career aspirations.

 

Thus, I moved to Glasgow to study an HND in Product Design. It was hard to go back to college after many years working, and doing it in a different language made it harder. A new city, new people, a stronger accent, living with a student loan. There were many issues to face and overcome. But when I look back, what I see it is a very rewarding experience in which I never gave up, learnt a lot and most importantly, it made me remember just how I used to enjoy being immersed in the design process.

The time I spent working in Spain was enough to confirm that I studied for the right career, and these years in Scotland have only reaffirmed it. I really know what I want, and I am ready for it. Which is why I am ultra-motivated to return to this role and I will not give up until I achieve it.
